1. Introduction

The Rights & Voices mobile application ("the App", "we", "us", or "our") is a civic-education platform developed by Freedom Gate Prosperity (FGP), a non-profit organisation registered under Section 42 of the Companies Act, 2017 with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan, in professional partnership with Micronox Digital.

The App is designed to help citizens of Pakistan understand the Fundamental Rights guaranteed by the Constitution of Pakistan. We have built the App with an absolute privacy-first mindset — we collect and process only the baseline data metrics strictly necessary to deliver the service, and we never sell your data.

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the App.

2. Information We Collect

The categories of data the platform processes are determined entirely by your selected user engagement track:

a. Information You Provide Voluntarily

• Verified Profile Identification: Your name and email address when you voluntarily sign up for a Verified Citizen account to persist your records.
• Learning Progress & Interaction Metrics: Your structured course track progression, quiz answer inputs, saved right bookmarks, and consecutive daily engagement streaks (Verified Accounts only).
• Search Submissions: Standard text queries typed manually into the dashboard search input field.
• Correspondence Data: Technical descriptions, text feedback, or email logs sent directly to our support helpdesk channels.

b. Information Collected Automatically

• Device Architecture Parameters: Device hardware model, core operating-system version, local language preference settings, and approximate country-level app region to ensure fonts and layout systems scale correctly.
• Aggregated Analytical Metrics: Anonymous performance data logging total session lengths, feature usage frequencies, and technical subsystem errors to help evaluate public optimization. This data is fully stripped of user identifiers.
• System Crash Telemetry: Automated stack traces compiled during unexpected application crashes, utilized strictly by our engineering team to construct software patches.

c. Information We Do NOT Collect

• We do not require account registration, sign-up, or identity verification to explore the core reference database (Guest Mode).
• We do not collect or monitor precise geographic coordinates (GPS positioning data).
• We do not access or request background access to device contacts, hardware calendars, camera rolls, photos, local filesystem files, SMS logs, or call histories.
• We do not integrate behavioural advertising SDKs or cross-app tracking frameworks.

3. Audio Narration & Device Permissions

The Rights & Voices App delivers studio-grade audio narration tracks enabling citizens to listen to specific constitutional articles read aloud natively in English, Urdu, and Sindhi languages.

How audio features work

• The audio engine functions through standard native media output channels. When a user interacts with a right narrative card, the application streams the pre-recorded media file from a remote cloud storage bucket.
• Absolute Sensor Privacy: This feature functions purely as a media output utility. The App does not request, access, or utilize your device's microphone or voice processing systems. No audio data is captured from the user environment.
• Audio streaming processes require standard internet data routing protocols to fetch files, and no personal profile tags are attached to file delivery requests.

Hardware settings

Because the app does not request microphone privileges, no hardware permission toggles are present in system configuration panels. To ensure smooth playback of the trilingual audio narratives, confirm that your mobile device's system media volume is active and that the physical mute switch is disengaged.

4. How We Use Information

We process the minimal data parameters on file exclusively to achieve specified operational and educational goals:

• Securely authenticate user access tokens and seamlessly sync personal progress across environments (Verified Citizen profiles only).
• Deliver stable media stream routing for the localized trilingual audio narration components.
• Diagnose real-time cloud database communication latencies, fix execution code bugs, and prevent platform crashes.
• Generate anonymous, macroscopic statistics detailing app feature utility to help structure upcoming content additions.
• Respond directly to incoming citizen assistance requests or technical feedback logs submitted to our helpdesk.
• Comply with valid legal frameworks, statutory orders, or regulatory transparency requests from competent authorities within Pakistan.

We do not sell data, compile user dossiers for political profiling, utilize automated tracking metrics for behavioral ads, or sell info to third-party data brokers.

5. Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell, lease, or distribute database profiles to external commercial groups. We transfer necessary background data packages exclusively to verified infrastructure providers bound by non-disclosure conditions:

Service providers

• Supabase Cloud Database Infrastructure: Our primary secure cloud backend solution, utilized to host profile row-level structures, track database states, handle security hashes, and log course progress parameters.
• Cloud Storage and CDN Repositories: Distributed, public-access storage buckets deployed to host and stream the raw trilingual audio narrative media assets.
• Anonymized Core Telemetry Tooling: Stability diagnostics configured to report code execution drops while scrubbing personal device tokens.

Each trusted infrastructure vendor operates under contractually verified data-minimization obligations and is blocked from repurposed data tracking.

Legal disclosures

We may disclose info package properties only if legally forced by a valid court decree, or formal statutory command issued by a competent legal authority inside Pakistan. We review all requests to block overbroad or unconstitutional queries.

Business changes

If FGP handles a structural transition, project re-assignment, or platform delivery to a matching Section-42 non-profit or public educational authority, advance notice will be distributed, and matching data protection standards will remain mandatory.

6. Data Security

We enforce strict, multi-layered security frameworks to guarantee information privacy:

• Encrypted Transmission: Every connection between the mobile application interface and our cloud databases uses enforced HTTPS / TLS transport encryption tunnels.
• Row-Level Protection: Our central Supabase data structures deploy strict Row-Level Security (RLS) layers, preventing any profile matrix from being read without a unique cryptographic user authorization token.
• Data Minimization: We purposefully design app logic to avoid storage vectors for unnecessary citizen metadata.
• Clean Codebases: The platform distribution builds ship completely free of monetization libraries, third-party behavioral trackers, or ad-network tracking scripts.

While we execute high-end engineering safeguards to shield repository instances, no electronic database layer or public network transmission routing is perfectly secure; we cannot pledge absolute, unbreachable protection.

7. Data Retention

• Guest Mode Analytics: Progress tracking variables are retained purely inside the isolated client-side storage box of your device. These coordinates never hit our database instances and clear instantly on uninstall.
• Verified Cloud Metrics: Profile states, streak numbers, course logs, and account fields remain tracked in our secure cloud instances for the active lifespan of the user profile.
• Support Correspondence: Helpdesk emails, text conversations, and attached debug imagery are retained for a baseline duration of 12 months to satisfy review quality protocols, after which records are archived or wiped.

8. Your Rights & Choices

You maintain absolute, unfiltered control over your civic profile database relationship:

• Anonymous Interaction: You can operate the entire app interface completely anonymously as a Guest Citizen without inputting an email or creating a password profile.
• Immediate Profile Purging (In-App Account Deletion): Verified Citizens can trigger complete automated database erasure at any moment. Selecting Settings → Delete Account inside the application will immediately flush your user identity, progress logs, streak indexes, and course histories from our active cloud storage instances.
• Manual Data Purge Requests: You can request full data extraction reports or manual database scrubbing by routing an official inquiry to our privacy desk at support@fgp.org.pk.
• Local Wiping: Uninstalling the application layout from your mobile operating system environment instantly erases all local cache states and progress arrays.

Verified account removal routines are processed instantly, free of charge, and permanently flash from our network backup instances within 30 days.

9. Children's Privacy

The Rights & Voices App is intended for a general audience of citizens interested in constitutional rights, and is suitable for users aged 13 and above. The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate steps to remove it.

10. International Users

The App is published from Pakistan, and our service providers may process data in jurisdictions outside Pakistan (for example, regional cloud regions operated by global providers). By using the App, you understand that your information may be transferred to, processed, and stored in such jurisdictions, which may have different data-protection rules than your home country. We require all service providers to maintain appropriate safeguards.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other operational factors. When we make a material change, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify users through an in-app message. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
