An Introduction to Entrepreneurship — Urdu Edition

IDEAS THAT BUILD ECONOMIES

Entrepreneurship is the unseen factor of production — the spark that turns ideas into industries, and freedom into prosperity. This Urdu edition makes that conversation accessible to a new generation of Pakistani readers.

Beyond the Textbook

Most economics textbooks treat the entrepreneur as a footnote. Butler puts the entrepreneur back at the centre of the story — as creative disruptor, discoverer, and judge under uncertainty.

For Pakistani Readers

Originally written in English by one of the world's leading classical-liberal thinkers, this translation brings core ideas of enterprise, freedom, and innovation to Urdu-speaking students and emerging entrepreneurs across Pakistan.

Policy & Practice

From taxation and regulation to permissionless innovation and rule of law, the book maps the conditions that allow enterprise to thrive — essential reading for policymakers, educators, and citizens alike.

"This is not a management book about how to make yourself a successful entrepreneur. It is a basic introduction to what entrepreneurship is, why we need it, and how we can encourage it."
