What is the Rights & Voices App?

Rights & Voices is a free civic-education app that helps citizens of Pakistan understand the Fundamental Rights guaranteed by the Constitution. It includes studio-grade trilingual audio narratives that allow users to listen to constitutional clauses read aloud in English, Urdu, and Sindhi.

Is the App really free? Are there in-app purchases?

Yes — the App is completely free to download and use. There are no subscriptions, in-app purchases, or hidden costs. It is published as a public-service initiative by Freedom Gate Prosperity (FGP), in partnership with Micronox Digital.

How do the trilingual audio narratives work, and do they require special permissions?

The app features high-quality audio recordings of constitutional rights read aloud in English, Urdu, and Sindhi. To listen to a narration, simply tap the audio card on the Home dashboard or within any course track. The audio will stream instantly to your device — no microphone access or other special permissions are required.

Which languages does the App support?

The App supports English, Urdu, and Sindhi — for both written on-screen text and high-fidelity audio narratives. You can switch your preferred language at any time inside the App's settings.

Do I need to create an account?

No, an account is not required to explore the core features of the App. By default, you can use the App immediately as a Guest Citizen to browse the home feed, read the Right of the Day, and access emergency helplines completely anonymously. However, if you wish to persistently track your learning progress, maintain daily streaks, save bookmarks, or enroll in certified structured course tracks, you can optionally upgrade to a Verified Citizen by creating a secure profile.

Does the App work offline?

The core text of the constitutional rights, your saved progress, and most local features work completely offline once the App is installed. However, streaming the trilingual audio narratives or downloading new certified course modules requires an active internet connection to securely fetch the files from our cloud storage.

Is the App a substitute for legal advice?

No. The App is an educational resource designed to help citizens understand their constitutional rights. It does not provide legal advice, and the information it offers should not be relied upon as a substitute for advice from a qualified lawyer. For specific legal matters, please consult a licensed legal practitioner.

I found a bug or have a feature suggestion — how do I share it?

We'd love to hear from you. Please email support@fgp.org.pk with a short description and, if possible, screenshots. Your feedback directly shapes future updates.

How do I delete my data?

We respect your data privacy and give you full control over your information depending on your user status:

  • Guest Citizens: If you are using the App in Guest Mode, no account is created on our cloud servers. Your progress is stored strictly on your device. Uninstalling the App will permanently delete all local data.
  • Verified Citizens: If you have registered a profile, you can permanently delete your account and all associated data (including your profile, saved rights, streaks, and learning history) directly from the Settings section inside the App. Alternatively, you can request full account erasure by emailing us at support@fgp.org.pk from your registered email address. Our team will permanently scrub your records from our secure database within 30 days.
