About FGP

About Freedom Gate Prosperity (FGP)

Freedom Gate Prosperity (FGP) builds on the legacy of Freedom Gate Pakistan, established in 2006 as a network of International Academy for Leadership (IAF) alumni and supported by the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom (FNF). In March 2025, FGP was formally registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) under Section 42 of the Companies Act, 2017. During the registration process, SECP advised that the term “Pakistan” could only be used by government-affiliated entities; therefore, the Board unanimously adopted the name Freedom Gate Prosperity (FGP) to ensure full legal compliance while preserving the organization’s mission and identity.

Today, FGP is a nationally recognized non-profit committed to empowering marginalized communities, advancing climate action and inclusive prosperity, and strengthening democratic participation across Pakistan. FGP operates as an independent platform while building credible alliances, including collaboration with Atlas Network and a formal partnership framework with Accountability Lab.

FGP has signed and developed MoUs with key partners across government and the private sector, including the National Commission for Human Development (NCHD). To strengthen engagement with the business community and improve the enabling environment for entrepreneurs, FGP also collaborates through MoUs and cooperation frameworks with chambers and representative bodies, including the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI), the Gilgit-Baltistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GBCCI), and the Islamabad Chamber of Small Traders and Small Industries (ICSTSI). In addition, FGP partners with Micronox Digital to support technology-enabled initiatives.

FGP is also a CIVICUS Voting Member (19 September 2025 to 19 September 2028), reflecting its commitment to civic space values, accountable governance, and meaningful citizen participation.
