Dr. Faiz Kakar

Dr. Faiz Muhammad Kakar has over 34 years of experience in administration, environmental management, and political assessment. His leadership roles, such as serving as a caretaker minister for the Government of Balochistan and working with international organizations like the UNDP and IUCN, showcase his ability to drive sustainable development initiatives. 
With a Ph.D. in Development Studies and expertise in climate change, social business, and disaster management, Dr. Kakar is committed to fostering economic growth and prosperity through innovative solutions and participatory approaches.

Gul Farina

Ms Gul Farina is an accomplished academic and expert in International Relations with over 25 years of experience in teaching, research, and governance. Currently serving as the Head of the Department of International Relations at Government Commerce and Economics College, Karachi, she has been a key figure in promoting democratic governance, responsible citizenship, and socio-economic development through her extensive work in academia and public policy.
Ms Gul Farina has led numerous workshops and seminars on countering extremism, fostering interfaith harmony, and advocating climate change awareness. Her dedication to empowering communities through education, policy advocacy, and civic engagement makes her a vital contributor to our organization's mission.

Urooj Raza Sayyami

Ms Urooj Raza Sayyami is a seasoned journalist and human rights consultant with over a decade of experience working with international organizations, media outlets, and NGOs.
Specializing in governance, counter-extremism, and interfaith harmony, she has led projects promoting peacebuilding, responsible media practices, and civic empowerment.
Her expertise spans public policy, climate change advocacy, and human rights, focusing on fostering inclusive and democratic communities. Urooj has also worked as a consultant and trainer for various international bodies, including the United Nations and Friedrich Naumann Foundation, delivering impactful programs to empower citizens and promote social justice.

Hafsa Zafar

Ms. Hafsa Zafar is an economist by education and has worked for the banking sector and civil society organizations in Paqkistan. She started her career as Officer with the National Bank of Pakistan, later shejoined Centre for Civic Education Pakistan in 2005 as Manager Administration and Operations and excelled to become the Centre’s Executive Director in 2016. She also worked as Accounts and Admin Officer with the National Democratic Institute in Pakistan (2004-2005). Presently, Ms. Hafsa is Director at Vision-2047-a private limited company for research and trainings.
Ms. Hafsa has certification in NGOs Management from PACT International, USA. She also received Moderators Training arranged by the Friedrich Naumann Stiftung, South Asia in Nepal in 2003. Ms. Hafsa did her graduation from Kinnaird College Lahore and Masters in Economics from Government College Lahore.

Tabindah Anwar

Ms Tabindah Anwar works in the development sector and has over eight years of experience in communications and project management regarding climate change and environmental challenges. She has graduated from Cornell University with a Master’s in Global Development and International Environmental Management.

Muhammad Anwar, CEO

Mr  Muhammad Anwar is a seasoned development professional with over 33 years of experience at the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom. Currently, he leads Freedom Gate Prosperity (FGP), a nonprofit organization dedicated to social development and climate action.
Muhammad Anwar holds a Master’s in Political Science and is known for his strategic planning, advocacy, and leadership skills. As a co-founder of The Learning School, he has contributed significantly to quality education in Punjab. His dedication extends to serving as a Corporate Advisory Board member at Iqra University Karachi. He is committed to Pakistan's progress and brings unmatched expertise and passion for creating a prosperous and inclusive society.
